Nearby towns of importance include Ongar, Brentwood, Loughton, Epping, Harlow and Sawbridgeworth. Nearest central tube is in Epping, junction 7 of the M.11 is about 4 miles away and main line stations for Liverpool Street, stopping at Tottenham Hale and Stratford found in Old Harlow (Harlow Mill) and Harlow (Harlow town).
